Calling all ghosts and ghouls!
The town of Faison is hosting its annual Ghost Walk Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5-7 p.m. at the Faison Cemetery. This year’s event will feature six characters, including two women, all from or living in Faison at the time of World War II.
According to Michelle McClymonds-Spencer, Faison Improvement Group’s media director, last year’s event featured five actors portraying Revolutionary War Faisonites and next year’s plans are to include actors from World War II. The 2026 Ghost Walk, part of the town’s 250th anniversary celebration, will include characters from Faison’s two and a half centuries.
This event is free, however donations are accepted.
