Wilson stuffed his stat sheet with 18 points, four steals, two assists and two rebounds during the Tigers’ come-from-behind, 65-60 win over Southern Wayne in their season-opening game Nov. 28. Wilson carries a 3.4 grade-point average in the classroom.
Tigers head coach Taylor Jones said, “Tyquise is a young man who loves to smile and has a great personality. He is an excellent student in the classroom and an example of how we would like our students to conduct themselves on a daily basis. He works hard in the classroom and teachers love to teach him. His parents are and should be proud of the young man he is, and will continue to be.”
