Students share RYLA experience

Students from Sampson County Schools, Clinton City Schools and the Sampson Early College talk Monday with Clinton-Sampson Rotarians about their experience attending the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards event they attended earlier in the year. The students thanked Rotarians for the opportunity and noted that the experience taught them a lot about preparation, planning, leadership, working together and learning to talk in larger groups. ‘It helped me get out of my comfort zone,” said Hobbton High’s Rosalia Morales. Among those presenting were Miguel Sanchez, Graham Dirks and Morales. The noon-day Rotarians joined with the evening club to financially sponsor the weekend leadership trip for the students.
