TRENTON — Spring Creek split a pair of non-conference, varsity basketball contests against Jones Senior Monday evening.

The Gator girls prevailed, 48-15. Meanwhile, the Trojan boys avenged their road loss in “The Swamp” with a 72-60 victory.

Aaliyah Kornegay knocked down 13 points for Spring Creek’s girls, who improved to 2-1 overall this season. Trinity Daniels provided nine points, four steals and seven rebounds.

Kiarah Pearson contributed eight points. Junior center Heather Alexander supplied seven points and five rebounds. Point guard Emily Williams registered six points, seven steals and six rebounds.

Natalie Jackson and Vanessa Duruttya tallied four and three points, respectively.

SC’s boys fell to 2-1.
