KINSTON — Ta’Niyah Glaspie logged her second consecutive double — 18 points, career-high 21 rebounds — during Southern Wayne’s 41-30 triumph over Farmville Central during the Greater Neuse FCA Winter Classic on Thursday evening.

The Saints (7-2 overall) and county foe Wayne Country Day (9-0) meet today to determine the Red Pool champion. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m. at Lenoir Community College.

Farmville Central, the four-time defending eastern 2A champ, fell to 1-1 in the Classic. The Jags close out Red Pool play against Eastern Plains rival Kinston today.

Jamaiya Bass provided eight points and five rebounds.

Sophomore guard Neveah Hines-Bass tallied six points and three steals, while Nygeria Thompson contributed five points. Elaina Lane collected four points.
