Drewry Enoch Moore, II, 92, died Friday, July 19, 2024, with his family at his side. Born on December 3, 1931 in Salem, Virginia, he was the son of Thomas Munsey Moore and Bernice Moore (ne: Thompson).

Drewry served in the Korean War with the United States Marine Corps. After the war, he graduated from the University of Virginia and continued to have a successful business career.

He is survived by his sons Drewry Enoch Moore, III, Frederick John Moore and John Paul Moore; his daughters Laura Moore Covert and husband Charles and Patricia Bernice Moore; six grandchildren: Jessica Moore McGraw and husband Patrick Adam McGraw, Mary Covert, Elizabeth Covert, Hannon Comazzetto, Lawrence Comazzetto and Uberto Comazzetto; two great-grandchildren, James Patrick McGraw and Isla Catherine McGraw; and his brother David Moore. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Hannon Moore and his brothers Thomas L. Moore, John P. Moore and Munsey Moore.

Inurnment will be in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Newton Grove, North Carolina at a later date.
