Children will get a chance to play games, learn about gardening, and meet a few sea critters as part of Steele Memorial Library’s Summer Learning Programs for Children. The wide range of programs being offered is listed below. All take place in the library (located at 119 W. Main St. in Mount Olive), with the exception of the “Growing with Friends” program that takes place in the library’s garden.

The library’s twice-weekly Storytimes do not require registration ahead of time, but all other programs do. To register, call the children’s desk at 919-299-8105, extension 8003.

And…keep an eye out for a new monthly column soon to be launched on MountOliveTribune.com, where you can learn more about these programs and other library happenings throughout the year.
