Greetings from the Wesley Smith Chapel Community. The Mother Board, consisting of mother Betty Boykin, mother Everlena Barfield, mother Dorothy Inez Ward, mother Nellie Matthews and mother Christine Leach along with the pastor Elder Scottie Rodgers and lady elect Tonya Rodgers would like to send a hearty, special thank you to each and everyone who helped show love doing their Mother Board Celebration on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Thank you to Evangelist Cynthia Ward Manley for delivering an awesome message on 2 Chronicles 34 and rediscovering what we lost; to the St. Luke Church Gospel Choir for rendering the music; to mother Vesta Freeman for sharing with everyone the description of a holy mother; to Elder Jean Ward for an awesome prayer; to mother Dorothy Inez Ward for the scripture; to mother Jackie Harvey for the response; to Patricia Bass for that great introduction of her sister; to Reginald Ward for driving from Maryland to support his sister, Cynthia; to Elder Kenneth Freeman and mother Vesta Freeman; to Elder Anthony Ezzell and lady Lynette Ezzell; and to the dynamic, awesome presiding Evangelist Vondra McClain. What an awesome service! And, most of all, thank you to Elder Scottie Rodgers for your open arms and love as we come together and fellowship with one another. Mother Betty Boykin you were missed, but you are in our prayers as you recuperate.
