The University of Mount Olive Women's soccer team looks to keep up their impressive run as they host the #4 seeded Limestone Saints today in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Championship tournament. The #11 seeded North Duplin Rebels have their first-round matchup on the road at 6-seed Gates County tonight.
Soccer:
The UMO women are putting their undefeated record on the line today against Limestone, a team that they beat 2-1 on Nov. 2. The Trojans beat #8 seed Southern Wesleyan 3-1 in the first round. Match time is set for 4 p.m. at Amon Field.
Football:
North Duplin kicks off their playoff run on the road once again after going 1-3 in conference play. The workhorses Saul Mendoza and Luis Olivos look to have a big game in the cold as their ground attack finished as one of the best in the Carolina 1A conference. Kick-off is set for 7:30 at Gates County high school.
