Town officials have interviewed three of four candidates who applied for the town’s vacant finance officer position.
Town Manager Jammie Royall said when the seat is filled, it will conclude his reorganization plans he put in motion since his hiring last summer.
Royall said the changes he’s made are working and he continues to keep a watchful eye on the progress.
Retiree Bonnie Bray, a Wilmington resident, is handling the finace officer duties on a part-time basis until a full-time employee is hired. She replaced Kaye Anderson who retired Feb. 1.
