Rainbow Tea, Family and Friends Days coming up

Greetings and Happy Fourth of July from the Wesley Smith Chapel Community!

I would like to send a hearty, blessed “happy birthday” out to my daughter, Schenita Arlene Davis Randolph, who celebrated Sunday. Dante celebrated his wife on a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, where they attended the Essence Festival July 1-6.

As many of you know, my daughter celebrates her birthday the entire month of July along with her son, Joshua Alexander, who will turn 14 on Thursday. Wow! No more baby. Joshua, my first grandson, is a teenager now.

Yours truly spent four days in Mebane with the kids. They demanded that I do no laundry, no cleaning, no cooking, no NOTHING and I did just that. Thank you and everyone for your prayers. I’m still healing and taking therapy to recover from my back surgery. It is a long process. I love each of you and appreciate the true prayer warriors. I’m so thankful for my pastor and assistant pastor, Elderess Velma McKinley, and my church family, for Apostle Lester Coward, Pastor Gertie Stevens, Minister Carl Faison and Pastor Janice Williams, Pastor Clifton Jones, Elderess Dorothy McDaniel, Elder Ernest and Evangelist Sadie Watson and so many more.
