9 a.m. to 6 p.m. - North Carolina Pickle Festival. Sale of 150th Anniversary-themed festival T-shirts and commemorative ornaments, 123 N. Center St. The Mount Olive History Museum will operate all day at 137 E. Main St.

6:30-7:30 p.m. – Mount Olive Historical Society’s Historical Glimpses: Mount Olive Masonic Lodge No. 208 – Michael Saviak III. Steele Memorial Library’s J.D. Evans Community Room, 119 W. Main St.

May 23

2-4 p.m. – Van tours of Historic Mount Olive presented by the Mount Olive Historical Society and Steele Memorial Library. Reservations are required. Please call Steele Memorial Library at 919-705-1892, ext. 3. Tours will leave from the Mount Olive Town Hall parking lot at 114 E. James St.
