EDITOR'S NOTE: This story has been updated to correct an inaccuracy. The original story stated that the woman was pulled over after police reported seeing her drive erratically in town. The police report does not specify erratic driving, but does say she "drove while impaired with open container in vehicle."
A woman is charged with a DWI after Mount Olive police reported seeing her operate a Cadillac SRX in a "manner that indicated the driver was impaired."
Officer Austin Kornegay stopped the vehicle and discovered the driver, 46-year-old Opalandria Moore-Reese of Goldsboro, had an open warrant for driving while impaired. He took Moore-Reese into custody and noticed she was intoxicated, according to a Mount Olive Police Department Facebook post.
Moore-Reese was charged with driving while impaired, possession of an open container and driving with a revoked license. Kornegay took her to the Wayne County Magistrate where she received a $1,500 secured bond.
