A Duplin County Sheriff’s Office investigation landed two men in jail, each accused of inappropriate sexual activities with minors.

Deputies say they received a report on Nov. 7 that 63-year-old Delmus “Buddy” Foss of the Kenansville area had inappropriate sexual activity with a 6-year-old.

Further investigation revealed disclosures and witness statements from numerous individuals, ranging in age from 6 to adulthood, accusing him of inappropriate sexual activities, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Foss was arrested Jan. 19 and is charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child. He was being held in the Duplin County Detention Center under a bond of $100,000.

The Sheriff’s Office received a separate report of inappropriate sexual activity involving another man on Jan. 11.

Deputies say 61-year-old Rene Zuncin of the Albertson area is accused of sexual offenses on a 10-year-old.

Zuncin was arrested Jan. 19 and is charged with four counts of first-degree statutory sexual offense, five counts of indecent liberties with a child, one count of assault on a child under 12 and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He was being held in the Duplin County Detention Center under a $2 million bond.
Investigations into both cases continue.
