Rose Rampants and the Neuse Charter Cougars, with both the women’s and men’s teams from each school competing throughout the day. The event delivered a full slate of matches highlighted by decisive performances, momentum shifts, and multiple pins.

Before the competition, Spring Creek head coach Joseph Borgquist, along with assistant coaches Channing Rouse and John Denham, expressed optimism about the program’s progress. The coaching staff emphasized growth and development on the women’s side, while the men’s team entered the meet focused on establishing control early in their matches.

Women’s Results: J.H. Rose Rampants vs. Spring Creek Gators

114 lbs: Rosa Flores (SC) vs. Nyima Lovett (JHR)

Lovett set the tone early, building a 7–0 lead through aggressive offense. Flores earned a point following a breakout, but Lovett maintained control and secured a second-period pin.

120 lbs: Selena Perez-Sanchez (SC) vs. Serenitie Speight (JHR)

Speight wasted little time, quickly pinning Perez-Sanchez to earn the win for the Rampants.

152 lbs: Ana Flores (SC) vs. Keyshayla Brown (JHR)
