Davis lived in the weight room during the offseason. He started off as part of the Rebels’ linebacker corps. The coaching staff moved him to a lineman position where he’s blossomed into a potential college recruit. Through seven games this season, he’s recorded 23 tackles, including eight behind the line of scrimmage. He’s also caused three quarterback hurries.
Rebels’ head coach Hugh Martin said, “Isaac is an outstanding young man and is a pleasure to coach. His work ethic is second to none. [He] has worked extremely hard developing his strength and football abilities, and has become a tremendous football player. We are blessed to have a young man like him in our program.”
