WENDELL — Southern Wayne finished fifth overall during a Quad County 3A boys’ golf meet contested at Wendell Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Joseph Strange paced the Saints with an 84.
Anthony Culbreth (88), Riley Howard (100) and Hunter Merritt (103) combined to card a team score of 375.
Isaac Worth and James Faulk also played.
The Saints return to the links March 21 at Johnston County Country Club. Play begins at 1 p.m.
