The Southern Wayne girls’ soccer team carries a 3-1-0 record into Thursday’s non-conference contest at county rival Goldsboro High.
DEEP RUN — Kelly Barrios tallied a career-high five goals and provided an assist during Southern Wayne’s 6-2, non-conference triumph over South Lenoir on Tuesday evening.
Karen Flores supplied two assists and one goal. Allya Segura doled out two assists, while Ana Morales notched one assist.
Goalie Amya Smith recorded 10 saves between the pipes.
The Saints (3-1-0 overall) travel to Goldsboro on Thursday. Kickoff is 5 p.m. at Cougar Stadium.
