The Snow Hill Community Food Pantry will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7.
The food pantry is located at Snow Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 1224 Red Hill Road, Mount Olive.
The food pantry provides families in need of food with groceries bases on the number of family members in a household.
Because of limited resources, there is a limit of one food box per vehicle per visit.
To qualify, a person must provide information including name, address, phone number and the ages and names of children in the household.
Plans are to have the food pantry open two Saturdays each month.
The next date for the food pantry will be Jan. 21.
