SEVEN SPRINGS — Spring Creek couldn’t protect a double-digit advantage after the opening quarter and endured a 56-49 loss on the JV boys’ basketball scene Monday evening.

The Gators led 18-5 after one period.

Midway chipped away at the lead throughout the next three quarters. The Raiders pulled away in the fourth and handed the Gators their third loss of the season.

Hunter Gunn paced the Gators’ offense with 15 points.

Jayden McLean chipped in five points. Darius Edwards and Treyshon Rivers scratched for four and two points, respectively.

Spring Creek fell to 1-3 overall.
