Alvarado has proven to be a second “coach” when he steps onto the pitch this season. His ball movement is on point and he sees the entire field well. He concluded the season with seven goals and six assists for the Saints.
Saints’ head coach Luis Ramirez said, “Ivan has shown to be a great leader on and off the pitch, one of those guys who you can plug in anywhere on the field and expect him to work hard. [He’s] one of the first players at practice and consistently supports his teammates. Ivan has grown so much in the past few years. He came [to the program] as a young, timid kid to really flourishing his senior year into a well-organized young man. I know that Ivan will go out into the real world and do great things.”
