MOUNT OLIVE— The University of Mount Olive has announced that Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company will be the presenting sponsor for its highly anticipated 2024 Homecoming Weekend. This year’s theme, “Celebrating the Art and Soul of UMO,” reflects the rich culture and community spirit that the event will show case. The festivities, scheduled for November 15 – 16, promise a vibrant lineup of activities for alumni, students, churches, and community members.

“Atlantic Casualty has been a faithful supporter since 1994, touching various areas of the University,” said Dr. Twyla Wells, Vice President for University Advancement. “We are thrilled to have them expand their partnership this year as the first-ever UMO Homecoming Sponsor!”

The weekend’s activities will feature engaging events, including a fall festival with an afternoon of concerts from diverse musical genres, food trucks, vendor booths, and a Kid’s Korner. Other highlights include the Annual Golf Tournament, the Trojan Trot 5K Walk/Run, and special Alumni and Hall of Fame awards ceremonies. The Pickle Classic basketball games will serve as the grand finale, embodying the competitive spirit and pride of UMO.
