The United Way of Wayne County has announced its partnership with Mallory Dumond, a Goldsboro travel agent, to give away a complimentary cruise to a deserving local Wayne County Public School teacher who pledge their “Fair Share” to support the United Way’s Annual Campaign.
Any Wayne County Public School teacher to pledge their “Fair Share” to United Way of Wayne County’s Annual Campaign by Sept. 11 will be entered into a drawing to win a free 3-4 night Royal Caribbean cruise. The winning teacher will be drawn at the Wayne County Public School’s Board of Education meeting on Oct. 7.
“I couldn’t think of a better way to show appreciation for our local educators who do so much for our community,” said Mallory Dumond, “Teachers play such a vital role in shaping the future, and this giveaway is a way of saying thank you for their dedication and support of important causes like United Way which also makes a major impact in our county.”
The partnership underscores both organizations’ shared commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families within the community. The funds raised during the United Way’s Annual Campaign will go directly towards supporting local programs and services that provide essential resources to those in need.
“We are so grateful for the support of Mallory in this initiative,” said Sherry Archibald, Executive Director of United Way of Wayne County. “This contribution not only helps us raise much-needed funds but also highlights the importance of educators in our community. We hope this incentive encourages more teachers to participate and support our campaign.”
