GOLDSBORO — Members of the Arts Council of Wayne County say they are thrilled to announce a generous donation of $25,000 from Southern Bank, headquartered in Mount Olive,, through the Southern Bank Foundation.

”This significant contribution will provide crucial operational funding to support the Arts Council’s mission of ensuring the arts thrive in Wayne County,” said Arts Council Executive Director Anna Hinson in a release issued Thursday.

Southern Bank is deeply committed to the communities of North Carolina, she continued. Their growth and success have been built on a foundation of providing excellent banking products and services while also investing in the lives and communities of their fellow citizens. This dedication to community support is demonstrated by their ongoing contributions to local initiatives.

This donation will directly enhance the Arts Council’s ability to facilitate exhibitions, workshops, performances, and educational initiatives. These programs inspire creativity, spark imagination, and foster community engagement, making the arts accessible to all members of the Wayne County community.

“Southern Bank’s generous support allows us to continue our efforts in promoting artistic and cultural enrichment,” said Hinson. “Their donation reflects their commitment to the community and will have a lasting impact on our organization and the community we serve.”

The Arts Council of Wayne County is deeply grateful for Southern Bank’s partnership and support, which helps ensure the ongoing success of our initiatives. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of countless individuals by providing opportunities for artistic growth and cultural development.
