SALEMBURG — North Duplin finished second overall among four teams during a Carolina 1A Conference boys’ golf match contested at Lakewood Country Club.
Landon Pate paced the Rebels with a 92. Carson Barwick (95), Gavin McClenny (97) and Isaac Davis (98) rounded out the team’s four-player score of 382.
Nathan Grantham carded a 108.
Rosewood’s Collyn Smith earned medalist honors with a 79. The Eagles emerged as the low-scoring team at 355. Hobbton and Lakewood shared fourth place at 425.
North Duplin returns to action March 25 at Lane Tree Golf Club.
