GREENVILLE – Trillium Health Resources has partnered with Victory Junction, a camp providing life-changing experiences located in beautiful Randolph County, just outside of Greensboro.

Trillium and Victory Junction will offer family weekends for Trillium members of all ages and abilities. The Victory Junction experience fosters independence, inspires confidence, and builds community through fun and exhilarating opportunities at no cost to the family.

The Trillium Family Weekends at Victory Junction, allow members, their family, or natural supports to enjoy activities like horseback riding, archery, bowling, fishing, canoeing, paddle boating, and more…together!

“This is a place of acceptance and understanding filled with the patience to be who we are,” noted a member of a camper family who wished to remain anonymous.

Victory Junction provides a state-of-the-art, fully accessible, and adaptively equipped facility. There is an on-site medical center, food service with special foods to meet a variety of needs, and cabins that sleep up to eight individuals. All activities are by choice, with options to choose from at all times. A Family Pal will also be with families to serve as a guide and provide support throughout the weekend.

Applications are open to all Trillium members and their families or natural supports, regardless of age or diagnosis. Interested families can complete a short form available here. Victory Junction will follow up with an application.

As Trillium has recently started serving members in 18 new counties, including Randolph, Guilford, Sampson, Duplin and others, staff there said they are thrilled to share unique opportunities such as Trillium Family Weekends at Victory Junction.

Application deadline for April 12-14 will be Wednesday, April 3.
