I am so sorry that there has been a delay in getting news out to you due to the fact of my illness, surgery, my baby brother Ronald Ward was in the hospital on a ventilator and passed away on July 24 . I apologize for such a long delay, but I am back now.
Ronald passed away on July 14 at UNC Wayne Memorial Hospital and was funeralized on July 23 at 1 p.m. at St.Luke Church of Christ Mt. Olive and was buried in the Vancie Ward Cemetery, 851 Emmett Jackson Road. He was a graduate of North Duplin High School in Calypso, where he graduated, and he served 13 years in the United States Army.

Happy 97th Birthday to Mother Lillie Anderson of Mt.Olive who celebrated her birthday on July 31. Happy Blessed and Special Birthday to my sister-in-law Dorothy Inez Ward on July 27 and to my grandson Joshua Alexander who celebrated his 18th birthday in Mebane.
The Annie and Ezekial Ward Family Reunion will be held on Friday, Aug. 12 -14 with the banquet and dinner being held at the Maxwell Center, Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro on Saturday night, at 6 p.m. Worship service to be held on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Schenita Davis Randolph as the guest speaker.
Congratulations to Brother Marlon Coley, the son of Clara Coley and grandson of Theresa Ward Jackson and the late Shelton Jackson, who has accepted the position of athletic dirassistant basketball coach at Goldsboro High School.
