For the past three years, students within the University of Mount Olive’s criminal studies program put on an end-of year mock trial to test the skills they have gained throughout the year. This year’s trial focused on the issues of fraud and postmodernism.
Students held the roles of lawyers, witnesses, and detectives in the half-day event.
“It was a fantastic experience,” said Glenn Coffey, CJC & Sociology Department Chair. “A special thanks to Alumnus John Ryan for his role as judge and for his assistance in putting this experience together. I look forward to the public viewing of our film in the fall.”
