An article by Elizabeth A. Watson, a librarian at Wayne Community College, has been published in an academic journal.
Watson is from Mount Olive.
Her book review titled “You Belong in College: A Review of ‘Inclusive Teaching: Strategies for Promoting Equity in the College Classroom’ by Kelly A. Hogan and Viji Sathy” is included in Volume 2, Issue 1 of the North Carolina Community College Faculty Association’s Journal of Teaching Innovation.
The tract “discusses Hogan and Sathy’s key ideas, particularly how college courses can be structured to be more inclusive” and declares it a “recommended resource” for instructors.
The piece can be read at www.ncccfa.org/ncccjti.
This is Watson’s second article in the journal. Her first was included in the first issue which was published last spring. It was also a review.
