HERDI South has named Wayne Community College President Patty Pfeiffer to its advisory board.
The HERDI (Higher Education Research and Development Institute) South is an organization that links corporate America with community colleges. Its advisory board consists of 40 members from 11 southern states, representing more than 275 community and technical colleges.
As a member, Pfeiffer will be a member of a panel that will conduct a three-hour focus group with a HERDI business client’s executive team and provide feedback to the company.
HERDI South meets once a year in December, prior to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Annual Meeting. This year the event will be held December 1-2 in Orlando, FL.
HERDI was established to provide a forum for dialogue between business leaders and community college executives to assist companies with bringing to market the products and services that best meet the needs of colleges. The event allows the companies to learn the challenges and opportunities facing higher education markets.
Among HERDI’s clients are Blackboard, McGraw Hill, Oracle, Cengage, Pearson, EVERFI, Salesforce, EMSI, and Wiley.
