A three-year varsity starter, Hines-Bass has served as the floor general (point guard) for the Saints during her career. Although, she missed five games against Quad County 3A opposition due to a concussion this season, the intelligent and quick ball handler made an impact in her return. She tickled the twine for a career-high 34 points against South Johnston on Feb. 6. During that game, she also established season and career highs in free throws made (20) and free throws attempted (25). Hines-Bass ranked No. 2 among QCC scorers with 16.9 points per game. She has scored 847 career points.
Saints head coach Ricky Lofton said, “She does a lot of things for us. I can put her anywhere on the court and she does what is asked of her. Sometimes, she gets frustrated. She makes us go. When she scores, we play a lot better defensively. She is very coachable.”
