Henderson battled adversity on and off the field this season, yet his leadership shined as the Tigers advanced to the NC High School Athletic Association Class 2A football playoffs.
Tigers head coach Tim Grady said, “Dakota contributed on both sides of the ball at guard and defensive end. He played through a sprained ankle and the loss of his grandfather. He’s a tough kid and always represents James Kenan the right way.”
