DuJuan Armwood returned to Calypso after spending his junior season at Southern Wayne. Now back in the old gold and kelly green uniform, the bruising running back is quickly approaching the 2,000-yard rushing mark for his career. He’s tallied 11 touchdowns and rushed for 672 yards on 63 carries this season. Armwood’s career totals are 271 carries, 1,885 yards and 30 touchdowns.
Rebels head coach Hugh Martin said, “[A] special talent. He plays extremely hard on both sides of the ball [and] has many roles for us offensively, defensively and on special teams. His leadership has been outstanding.”
