On the same day that Goldsboro Police found a meth lab in the city, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a pair on crystal meth charges, one of whom was from Mount Olive.
According to their report, on Wednesday, September 27, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit were called by Probation and Parole and asked to help them search a residence on Smith Logging Lane in Goldsboro. During the course of the search, crystal methamphetamine was located on two suspects, along with package materials and a digital scale. A firearm was also found inside the residence during the search.
Gregory Scott Harrison, 37, of 273 Smith Logging Lane, Goldsboro, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Mary Olivia Foy, 25, of 1644 NC Hwy. 55 East, Mount Olive, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony possession of a Schedule II substance.
Foy, who was an absconder from probation, and Harrison, who was on post release, were taken in front of the Magistrate. Foy was given a $5,000 secured bond and Harrison was given a $10,000 secured bond and placed in the Wayne County Jail.
