Caseworkers from the Wayne County Department of Social Services and Lutheran Services Carolinas will discuss how to qualify as a foster parent. A licensed foster parent will also share her experiences caring for a child in need.

 

Be a Voice for a Child: Guardian ad Litem

A Guardian ad Litem volunteer tells a child’s story in court and acts as the eyes and ears for a judge, helping the judge make decisions for children who have previously suffered abuse and neglect.
