Outlaw’s Bridge Universalist Church, 4408 N.C. Highway 111 N., Seven Springs, will host a service on Quaker theology based on Elton Trueblood’s book, “A Place to Stand,” addressing those who recognize the need for a strong stand from which to operate in the confusion of contemporary thought. Trueblood says, “Ours has become an age in which people simply do not know what to think.” The Rev. Lois Cavanagh-Daley will lead the service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The offering collected during the service will go to Cape Fear Parrot Sanctuary in Pink Hill. All are welcome.
