Lent revival in progress at Payne Temple

Payne Temple AME Zion Church, 915 S. Center St., Mount Olive, is holding a Lent revival on Thursday nights through April. Speakers and their church families are as follows: Thursday, the Rev. Dwight Morrisey, pastor of Gospel Light United Holy Church, Mount Olive; and April 11, the Rev. Jeff Dail, pastor of Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mount Olive.

Greater St. Luke to hold mission service

Greater St. Luke United Holy Church, 310 W. South St., Rose Hill, will have mission service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The messenger will be Minister Dexter Ingram, an associate minister of Greater St. Luke UHCA, with the Greater St. Luke Male Chorus providing the music. District Elder Anthony Flow is the pastor.

Ed Clark is
speaker Sunday

Outlaw’s Bridge Universalist Church, 4408 N. N.C. 111, Seven Springs, will have Ed Clark as guest speaker at 11 a.m. Sunday. His topic will be “Lost History — Violent Radicals of the 1970s.” The pastor is the Rev. Claudia M. Frost.

Easter egg hunt in Westbrook Park

The Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church will have an Easter egg hunt in Westbrook Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 20.
