Have you seen this missing teen? Deputies need help to find him


Deputies need help to find a missing teen who reportedly ran away from his home in Goldsboro on Jan. 24.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Paxton Nyshawn Best, a 13-year-old black male, according to a release from the Sheriff's Office. Best resides at 270 Antioch Road, Goldsboro, and was last seen around 5 p.m. on Jan. 24.

Deputies say he voluntarily left his home headed in an unknown direction, but has been known to frequent the areas of Tanglewood Court and West Haven in Goldsboro and Fayetteville. Best has run away from home in the past, according to the release.

Best is 5-feet-8-inches tall, 140 pounds with brown eyes and short dreads. He was wearing a black, white and orange colored jacket, black pants and black shoes when he was last seen.
