A Dudley man is facing possession charges for drugs and burglary tools after he was stopped in a traffic check conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team.
Thirty-two-year-old Joshua Kristopher Keating of 4337 U.S. Highway 117 Alternate S. was arrested on Feb. 3.
He was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond for those charges was set at $10,000.
He was also charged with a parole violation and is being held on no bond for that charge.
The arrest occurred when members of the ACE team were conducting a traffic check on Paul Hare Road.
Keating was a passenger in the vehicle, and officers discovered he was wanted on a warrant for a parole violation out of Durham.
He was found to be in possession of the drugs, paraphernalia and burglary tools during the arrest, according to deputies.
