Faison man in single-car accident
03 July 2008–According to North Carolina Highway Patrol reports, Jesus Angel Santos, 21, of Sampson St. in Faison was in a single-vehicle accident on June 19 at 6:10 a.m. 3.10 miles northeast of I-40.
Apparently, the vehicle was traveling west on I-40 when the tread separated from the right rear tire and caused the vehicle to run off the road to the right. The vehicle struck the ditch, overturned, and came to rest against several trees.
Approximately $2,000 worth of damage was done to his 1999 Ford.
