Wayne County Sheriff's report

19 June 2008 –
New Beginnings Ministries Christian Church, 1155 Mills Rd Mt. Olive reported a breaking and entering and larceny on Saturday. Someone threw a piece of cinder block through the church’s window and made away with 2 microphones and a AM/FM CD cassette stereo. Damage to the window was placed at $50 and the value of the stolen items was set at $330.

Paula Lanier Elmore, 46, of 899 Stanley Chapel Church Rd, Mt. Olive was arrested on Friday and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery. She was released on $600 secured bond.

Lashaun Anthony McCullen, 22, of 108 E Kornegay St, Mt. Olive was arrested and charged Friday with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance. His bond was set at $5000.

William Leonard Wright, 27, of 1013 N Center Street, Mt. Olive was arrested Saturday and charged with writing a worthless check. Bond was set at $500.

According to North Carolina Highway Patrol Reports, Marilyn Kay Brimmage, 51, of Pollock St. in Mount Olive struck a deer in the roadway on Rains Mill Rd. in Princeton on June 10 at 4:18 p.m.

Approximately $3,000 worth of damage was done to her 2001 Honda.
