Duplin summer school begins on June 18

12 June 2008 – There will be a summer school program for select students in Duplin County in grades 3,5 and 8. The calendar, schedule and locations are as follows:

Summer School Calendar: First day for students is June 18, End-of-grade tests (for both traditional and year-round students) are July 2-3 and the last day for students is July 3.

All summer school classes will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Kenansville Elementary School.

Breakfast and a snack will be served to all students. In the course of meal service, no child will be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap. All children will be served the same meals and there will be no segregation of any child.
